Ha! How I *wish* I had time to keep up with the endless cycle of plugin deprecations and upgrades! I just took a glance at the sunspot site and it does indeed look like it has a much nicer, more powerful api... but... this is for a legacy app the pretty much works and there just aren't enough hours in the day. But when those hours *do* get added to the day, "grep -r" will work fine. :)
