Hey, folks. We're doing lightning talks for our March meeting.
This is your chance to share something you learned recently. Topics can include anything related to Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and web apps in general. Gems, plugins, hacks, tricks, tips, how-to's would all be perfect. THE RULES - Each talk should be no more than five minutes long. - Each talk should only use slides. No live coding or demos. - Slides should be in PDF format. (You can export PDF from Keynote, Office, etc.) HOW TO SUBMIT - Add your talk topic here => http://sdruby.uservoice.com - Email your slides here => [email protected] Talks must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Monday, February 28th. Note: due to time constraints, we are limited to fifteen slots for talks. If we receive more than fifteen proposals, we'll conduct a short round of voting and the top fifteen talks will be selected. Everyone is encouraged to submit a talk idea, especially newcomers who haven't spoken at SD Ruby previously. Even if you're still learning Ruby or Rails, you still have valuable insights to share. I'm really looking forward to see everyone's ideas! Cheers, Patrick -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby
