Hey guys, you may remember me from such SD Ruby meetups as: the CS lecture room at UCSD, or the converted laundromat-to-coffeeshop in Normal Heights. I used to come with Tom Werner before he became rich and famous starting Github.
My company (Active Network) and more specifically my team (Active Trainer) is looking for an awesome Ruby developer. Are you one? I assume you are if you're in this group. It's a pretty great place to work and we have free reign in architecture, design, you name it. Our app is running in EC2 and you'll have they keys to start/stop servers, create S3 buckets, set up notifications...anything you want to do with AWS as long as it's awesome. The current app is here: http://trainer.active.com and has only been live for a couple months. There's a ton of stuff in the pipeline and we need help building it! The job pays well and the benefits are awesome. You'll be equipped with a 27" iMac or 15" Macbook Pro and your very own Ikea desk! We just had our first Hackathon a couple months back -- 2 days to build anything you want and present to management. More hackathons are coming soon. Sound exciting? You can read more about the job and apply for it here: http://recruit.trovix.com/jobhostmaster/jobhost/ViewJobPostDetails.do?title=WEB+DEVELOPER+(RUBY+DEVELOPER)&jobPostId=wdqcfqywdfbcrkwdf6zo54nmpa&accountId=845b602983a8311e2876ae23b303d7dc29704e28&button=&action=viewDetails&tid=0207-msj3kyqbkvg2njyshxbrhrzmkh P.S. Please make sure you answer the questions at the end. None of our applicants so far have done this which means their attention to detail sucks. -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby
