One of the things we do is develop and operate websites for our customers. We're looking for Rails developers to join our website launch team. This role requires close collaboration with our customer account managers and UI developers, mostly on-site in our Solana Beach office. Responsibilities include: * Work with account managers to identify and define new website features before launch * Implement new Liquid template objects for use by our HTML developers * Integrate HTML page templates and custom CSS/JavaScript with our production code base * Test new websites and fixing any HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Ruby issues found before launch * Maintain and update websites post launch * Invent, implement, test and roll out tools to help automate site development and testing Ideal candidates have the following skill set: * Strong knowledge of web standards and cross-browser, cross-platform development and testing * Experience developing websites with Ruby on Rails * Familiarity with JavaScript, and client-side development experience using jQuery or similar * Ability to work closely and collaboratively with account managers, UI designers and backend developers * Comfort using source-code version control: experience specifically with Git is a plus Please contact dev at analoganalytics dot com -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby
