Please join us tomorrow, Thursday October 6th, at The Linkery in North Park for a talk by Gary Moore on what he has learned in introducing Agile methods to Cricket Wireless, and other San Diego companies. The meeting will start at 6:30pm but you are welcome to arrive earlier for a beer and a chat.
"Confessions of a former Scrum purist" Gary will share some of his experiences from his 10-year Agile journey thus far, and reflect on the Agile adoption that he has led with the reporting team at Cricket. Gary discovered Adaptive Project Management methodologies in 2001 while pursuing Project and Program Management Certification at UC Santa Cruz Extension. Since then he has incorporated Agile methodologies into the Web application development projects that he has managed. In 2008 he became a Certified Scrum Master and has led the adoption of Scrum at three companies in the San Diego area. This meeting will take place at The Linkery in North Park at 6:30PM.
