Greetings fellow rubyists, I'm currently hiring a fulltime developer
to work onsite with us here at AppStack in Temecula, CA. I know that's
a ways North of the SD Ruby meetup, but if you live anywhere near the
15, or are in Northern San Diego, Temecula is a reverse commute (no
traffic), so hear me out.

AppStack is a fast-growing technology company that helps small
businesses generate new leads and engage their customers through
mobile websites, applications, and advertising.

We are currently looking to hire a talented Ruby on Rails engineer to
help lead the development of our core platform, solving unique
technical problems with new technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

* Architect, build, and test Ruby on Rails projects
* Rapidly brainstorm and prototype new features and functionality
* Integrate with 3rd party products to support key billing,
advertising, and application provisioning features
* Participate in key decisions that will define the frameworks and
methodology for all future AppStack web development

Experience

* 3+ years experience working with Ruby on Rails (with some exper
* Integration with 3rd party products via web services (experience
with Google APIs a plus)
* Integration with social networking APIs such as Facebook Graph API
and Twitter API

Skills

* Ruby on Rails 3, MongoDB, HTML/CSS/Javascript (JQuery)
* Familiarity with deployment into a Cloud infrastructure a plus (we
use Heroku along with a number of related services)
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment with user experience
designers, senior technical staff, and company leadership
* A do-it-yourself attitude, thriving off the challenge of figuring
out something new
* Pinpoint precision with various nerf weapons for use in office
warfare

We're willing to consider part or full time remote work (with the
occasional trip to the office) for the right candidate, but we're
pretty sure you'd enjoy your time at the office as much as we do if
you can make it in.
