I should mention this application started as a Rails 3.0 application
that I migrated to a Rails 3.1 application. I just created a new Rails
3.1 application and can see that the app/assets folder was
automatically generated and contains images, javascript, and
stylesheets, all of which used to be under root/public. I'm going to
try moving those folders from my old Rails 3.0 app to the assets
folder.
