Company: An online dating startup that wants to disrupt the space by turning profile creation into a creative process that accurately reflects your real self, not the projected self. You: Want to work with cool people on a creative project part-time. This is consumer internet, and online dating, so obviously it's high risk, but also a fun and creative project. They're looking for a Rails dev to work with them to build out a proof of concept/MVP. They're pre-funding, so they want to work with someone who's got their monthly expenses covered, and is willing to take significant equity to build a prototype.
