The San Diego Postgres User Group is meeting tonight. I will be reprising my “Postgres FTW” presentation that I gave recently at SD Ruby.
But even if you saw that, you might want to go. First, because the meeting will probably involve more discussion with a crowd that’s more focused on the topic. Second, to meet other Postgres users in San Diego. And Third, to support the group. Past attempts at getting such a group together has not been terribly successful, I think because of chicken and egg issues. So if you’d like there to be a Postgres user group in San Diego, I encourage you to go to help the numbers. The group is organized by one of the Postgres committers, and in the past has consisted of a good mix of very- and less-experienced folks. The meeting will be at 7PM at: redIT World Trade Datacenter 12270 World Trade Drive #100 San Diego, CA 92128 -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby
