We are growing our portfolio of businesses every year and are looking for a RoR developer to optimize our existing $2mm/year e-commerce site and develop several additional e-commerce projects. The person we are looking for needs to take care of all our technical needs, and will be in charge of all the creative programming that comes with this job. Job Description / Responsibilities: - Maintain existing production e-commerce platform (bug fixing, ensuring data integrity, monitoring performance, etc). - Enhance existing platform with new functionality. - Support development and operation of Magento Commerce installation. Skills / Experience: - Web development using MVC framework (Ruby on Rails preferred). - External API integration (especially payment gateways). - Source code version control (git preferred) - Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development - Relational Database design and manipulation (Postgres preferred). - Application hosting in the cloud (Heroku, Amazon S3) We're in Miramar and have a young, friendly, and ambitious team working in a casual environment.
