Absolutely! I normally can't do the Thursday night Ruby group events, but we should figure something out. I'm actually going up to SF to help with the February RailsBridge there, which may preclude me attending SD Ruby in Feb, but we'll see. Maybe I'll just go up Friday afternoon instead of Thursday night.
At least one experienced volunteer from the SF group is already committed to coming down for the workshop here in March. I am trying to see if we can get someone to do a teacher training (which they do regularly up there) before the workshop.
