Hi Folks, I just made this little command line utility (written in Ruby) to create, update, and migrate git repos on GitHub and BitBucket using their respective REST APIs.
https://github.com/dderiso/gitter BitBucket you say? They offer free unlimited private repos (used to be free for academics, but now I think they've offered it to others as well). GitHub offers 5 free private repos for academics. Anyway, I find myself moving things between them quite often, and would rather use the CLI for everything than click buttons on the websites to create repos. I hope this is useful, please feel free to comment, contribute, fork, spoon, or spatula...especially if there's a better way of doing something so I can learn from it!
