A few years ago I started having back issues. I went from a Costco leather chair to a Herman Miller Mirra, which I bought used (although it was brand new) for $180 off craigslist. My back returned to normal after a month of use.
In addition, I bought a geekdesk, and I now sit 60% of the time, and stand 40% of the time. When my feet get tired, I sit. You can probably get both for around $1000, and this is something you use every single day. Don't try to save money on your back. --Dan On Tue, Jun 11, 2013 at 2:41 PM, Jarrod Overson <[email protected]> wrote: > I went through several years of trying a slew of different chairs/sitting > solutions (including the ball, aeron chairs, and weird sit/kneel solutions). > > I ended up being happiest with a standing solution and, for versatility, > have been working with the Ergotron Workfit-S.
