Hello, I am looking for a tech partner for an emerging startup in the retail travel space. Detailed market research shows an exciting opportunity in a largely untapped $100 billion market. The developer would have the lead in developing the website (and possibly app), and should have a solid technical background (e.g., Ruby on Rails) that would allow them to implement functions such as user accounts, payment systems and receipt/voucher generation, and time or quantity-based deals. At least in the near term, this would be an equity-based position in terms of compensation.
In short, the startup is a website and app that allows travelers to discover and book the best activities at a destination, at a discount.
