I wanted to let everyone know that AppFolio is doing another info session at UCSD before this Thursday's meeting. We did one of these back in February - it's a good overview of the company and some of the projects we're working on. I've included the full information below.
We're a rails shop with offices here in San Diego and up in Santa Barbara. There are some cool projects we're working on here with scaling a relatively new product project management out to a much larger market. We're doing mobile apps, scaling infrastructure on AWS, converting some MySQL over to NoSQL, etc. And we're just about done with our Rails 3 upgrade, so there's no more working on legacy Rails 2 code (just legacy Rails 3 stuff now I guess). We'll be staying for the SD Ruby meetup and of course we'll be there for the beer at Rock Bottom, so you'll have plenty of chances to talk with us if you're interested.
