IT organization in a San Diego higher education institution is looking for a strong RoR Web & DB developer who is interested in a part-time engagement and a long-term working relationship. We have built a solid RoR platform since 2006 with Oracle and SQL Server backend. You will be working with a small and superb team that follows best practices and values maintainable/well-thought-out software approaches. Several new and exciting projects are on the horizon to take our institution to the next steps. The initial assignment will be to convert the existing code base from Rails 2 to Rails 3, HAML and Bootstrap.
Requirements: + Intermediate to advanced RoR experience.
