Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch.  Sure, I'd love to chat with you more on this
project.  I live in La Jolla and work at Mira Mesa Blvd and I-15.  When and
where is convenient for you?

Cheers,

Chris

SD Ruby,

I've been working on a side project for a while with a non-technical
co-founder.  He's a commercial real estate broker, and the application
facilitates the negotiation of commercial leases.

It's a Ruby on Rails application running on JRuby and has some pretty cool
features, including a spreadsheet-based financial analysis system.

My availability to work on this project has gotten thinner and thinner with a
job change to a startup, two young boys who need more "dad time", a house
remodel, and pretty much all the other normal life stuff that eats up free
time.

I owe it to my co-founder to try to keep the project moving forward, so I'm in
search of a mid- to senior-level Rails developer who'd like to work with me to
finish the first version of the application.  Once the initial spin-up is
complete I would hand the reins over to the developer and take on a technical
management role.

This would be a contract position working on an hourly rate or a combination of
hourly rate and equity.  I envision the initial engagement lasting at least 3
months.

If you have some availability to work on a project like this one and are
interested please contact me here or at testflyjets at gmail.  I'll be at SD
Ruby on Thursday as well, so hit me up there if you have questions.

Cheers,

Chris McCann
