I'm a big fan of Squash ( https://github.com/SquareSquash/web ). It has
a nice default model of notifying the right people at the right times
without getting overwhelming. Plus some good client libraries and a nice
simple API for everything else. My only complaint is that you gotta set
up and run the server yourself, which is a minor nuisance. Maybe someone
out there is offering it as a paid service, because they should be.
