RACK: A CASE STUDY IN DESIGN
Michael Cordell will be talking about the design of rack and why it is the
foundation of most ruby web apps.  We will also cover practical examples of
rack middleware, and wrap up with a discussion of the future of rack.

CHAT APP IN VOLT
Rob Kaufman is going to go over what it takes to build a Slack or Campfire
like application in Volt. Volt is a promising new Ruby web framework


RAFFLE
We'll be giving away a few ebooks, software licenses, etc, using our shiny

AFTERPARTY
After the meeting, we'll head over to Rock Bottom Brewery for a round or

Meeting are held on the UCSD campus, at 7:30pm, on the first Thursday of
