Join us tomorrow, Thursday, March 10th, for a highly interactive workshop
on the Agile Principles. As working Agilists with many distractions and
adaptations of Agile around us, it’s important to regularly get back to the
roots of Agile in a meaningful and participatory way. We’re especially
lucky to have local Agile pioneer Woody Zuill leading this session. The
workshop will be held at Learn Academy in North Park at 6:30pm.

The Agile Principles, in combination with the Values of the Agile
Manifesto, are a philosophy of software development. We can use them as a
handy set of guidelines by which we can evaluate and choose the practices
and techniques we might want to try in our software development efforts. In
this mini-workshop we'll take a look at the Agile Principles, and work
together doing a few activities to gain a deeper understanding of the
principles and discover how useful they can be to us. This will be a fun,
educational, and highly interactive session.

~ About Woody ~

I've been programming computers for 30+ years, and I'm a fan of Software
Craftsmanship, Clean Code, Agile Software Development, Lean concepts, and
Mob Programming.

In my spare time I speak at conferences, user groups, code camps, and
wherever I can about Agile Software Development, Mob Programming, No
Estimates, Agile Success, Approval Tests, Practical Refactoring, Legacy
Code, Continuous Improvement in Software Development, and related topics.

A few folks have endorsed me for #NoEstimates, and it looks like someone
has finally endorsed me as a Muckraker, which is perhaps my most meaningful
ability.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8pm at Learn Academy

information are here <http://www.agilesandiego.org/monthly-meeting/>.
