I've been going crazy with acts_as_taggable lately, so I could do a
short talk on that if people are interested.
- The differences between the acts_as_taggable gem and plugin
- How to do Del.icio.us style tag views (where newly tagged stuff
appears on top)
- Improving add & delete tag behaviors
- How to make a tag cloud
I'm an "old" face, though. Maybe I can wear a mask or something. :)
Best,
Patrick

It's time once again to start thinking about presentations for the
October 5th meeting. If you have a topic you'd like to speak on,
please post to this list. If you have a topic you'd like to see
someone give a talk on, visit
http://sdruby.com/sdruby/show/Presentation+Ideas
and leave your idea. If you'd like to present, but aren't sure what
to talk about, take a look at that list and see if you have
experience with any of the items. I'd like to see some new faces up
on the podium this time, so please do consider making a presentation.
Talks can be on anything Ruby related and should be kept under 45
minutes. If you have any questions, simply respond to this message.
