I'm using Thunderbird to read/send messages via POP3/SMTP. It doesn't
make much sense that I get my messages from ruby-talk but not
sdruby-list. Damn you technology!!!

I'm using gmail and it works ok for me. I also have "receive your own

functions (read/reply/post) so there's not a problem because it
identifies my reply as part of the conversation and keeps it nice and
tidy.
Are you using one email client to post/reply and then using gmail to
read? Because the reply does not originate from gmail in that case,
that may be your problem (though the "receive your own posts" flag
SHOULD solve that).

I've just started using a gmail account to view this mailing list. For
some reason the messages I send out don't end up coming back to
me. The
mailing list is set to send me my own messages, and I get them
fine from
the ruby-talk list. Anybody else come across this problem?
