Yeah, I always but a $3 parking pass and park in the lot that Steve
mentioned. There's a map on the site of where to get the permit and

You're supposed to buy a 1-day permit at one of the little permit huts
when you enter campus.
As far as lots, I've never had a problem with the lot across the
street and to the NNW of the CSE building.
Also, there's free motorcycle parking around there too.
