Our client provides a free text messaging platform for Radio to make it more
interactive and entertaining.  They are looking for an experience Ruby On
Rails Developer on a contract-to-hire basis.  This is a full-time, on-site
job in San Diego.  Pay is flexible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Help us build internal and customer-facing web-based applications to
manage our network. Design, build, and enhance: content management,
scheduling, reporting, analytics and content distribution infrastructure.
• Provide web-based access to above systems for both internal and external
use with an appropriate access control model across system.
• You will be involved in the system end-to-end: requirements definition,
data modeling, network and database infrastructure, website development, and
more.
• You will be programming on Linux, using a mixture of Ruby on Rails, Perl,
and PHP.
• You'll be part of a small team of great engineers in a startup

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years as Web Applications engineer.
• 3+ years in database design and data modeling (MySQL focus preferred).
• Must know at least two of the following: Ruby on Rails, Perl, PHP.
• Network administration and programming in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Multi-level security database design.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Must be passionate about working in a startup.

DESIRABLES:
• Cross-browser knowledge and experience.
• Browser-based client design, including embedded server-side and
client-side scripting.
• Experience with the following industries: advertising, interactive
entertainment, media, or retail.
• BS or MS in Computer Science.
