I wouldn't bother unless you expect that this will absolutely grow
beyond comments and notes, or you just want to play with polymorphic
associations.
What you already have is functional, simple, and clear.
This feeling of guilt is something I commonly have to train my
programmers out of. Most programmers, because of their nature,
naturally want to achieve that "perfect" design. But, pragmatism
should prevail. You shouldn't feel guilty for something nice and
clean and functional!
