Buy a server, upgrade it to however you want, here are some pre-configured
ones

Co-locate it for about $100/mo

I have rack space and rent $125/mo for 1U of space at Cox Communications HQ
in Orange County, including bandwidth, extra if you end up using
YouTube-like amounts of bandwidth. Just give me your server, I'll rack it
up. I can help set it up for additional fee, depending on how much help you
need setting up (like install full OS, Rails stack, and MySQL and get it all
working together)

Yeah, I hope I didn't scare off everybody.

From what I can tell, if you stick to the default RAM settings for
your machine, you'll be fine. And RAM upgrades appear to be more
affordable for low end boxes.
