Yea, but the SvN blog has significantly more data and readers doesn't it? I would suspect doing the same to the SvN blog would cause bigger waves. Also, the SvN blog caters to a slightly less tech-savvy group than the Rails blog... meaning people would be less sympathetic to that kind of migration.
