One way we can most likely achieve this is by providing a set of action beans
(similar to the existing RoleAction/RoleSearch and UserAction/UserSearch
beans). Security checks for the identity management related operations can be
expressed by placing security annotations on the bean's corresponding methods,
and the bean would also be responsible for transaction control and providing a
persistence context where required.
