There is a wrong seam-faces.jar bundled in Seam 3.0.0.Beta1. It should contain
Seam Faces 3.0.0.Beta2 and indeed the jar's manifest claims it's the
3.0.0.Beta2 version, but it's very different from what you can find in the
maven repository [1] or what you compile. A lot of classes are missing and a
couple of them are different. Also it's half the size the correct one.
I'm not sure whether we're gonna re-release the Seam 3.0.0.Beta1, but we should
take steps to ensure this won't happen again.
