Only 1 or 2 Google apps are signed with platform keys. I'm not sure why we should give the rest platform privilege. Also, if it is signed by platform key, it would be automatic grouped in the platform_app, right? I'm not sure why we need to give Google app special treatment. Can't we treat Google app like any vendor apps?
Which ones are signed with the platform key? On my Nexus 7 running 4.3 all gapps are running as untrusted_app and on my GS4 running TW 4.2.2 all gapps are running as untrusted_app. Note that I'm not vouching for the quality of either of these policies.
