THE MISSING LINK
An off-the-wall story off the Web

"Seniors online: Few, but fervent"
A new survey shows that cybersurfin' seniors are a small bunch, with
only 15% of the 65 and older set being Internet-friendly. But that
handful is hardcore. Nearly 70% of those grandmas and grandpas go
online on a typical day. That compares to 56% of all Americans who
log on. The study predicts even more seniors will get wired, a
phenomenon being dubbed the "silver tsunami."
