The debate we are currently having is over the effectiveness of using DB2 stored-procedures vs. CICS to provide our scalable business processes going forward. The main argument is that the DBA's believe that they can out 'deploy' the CICS Cobolers, and the CICS folks believe that they can out perform (run-time) the stored-procedures.
