TESTING FOR THE RESULTS OF A CICS TRANSACTION | search390 Developer
Discussion Forum

Hey CICS gurus! User "fuzzybuzzardo" could use your help. Here is
his recent post in our developer discussion forum: "I am currently
trying to write some macro's to automate adding userID's to CICS
systems. My problem is that when a user is already on a system, it
throws the macro out of step and it goes haywire! I am using for
loops and senkey statements to do it. Is there a way to test for the
result of a CICS transaction and then take appropriate action?

THE MISSING LINK | Perfume smells like geek spirit

Just keep this in mind -- it's better than BO. The perfume people at
Coty have made an interesting stink -- a fragrance that reeks of
computers! Take that Tommy! It's called "001Coty." Catch a whiff of
this stuff, and you'll think you just walked into CompUSA. The man
behind the mist says he captured the smells of static electricity and
a newly-opened box of computer hardware and mixed them with marigold,
praline, licorice, almond and magnolia to get the scent. If you're
one of the lucky ones who has a chance to buy it (only 5,000 bottles
will be made -- all sold over the Internet), be careful where you
wear it. This high-tech toilet water might turn on a sultry server.
Or worse, an amorous Aibo!
