CICS DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' BRIDGES! | by Jim Keohane
Actually, some bridges are rather nice. Just don't do what Jim did
and confuse "CICS 3270 Bridge" with the "CICS 3270 Web Bridge." The
first is a lean, mean dancing machine. The latter requires an
environmental and performance impact statement before implementation.

HOW TO INITIATE CICS TRANSACTION VIA BATCH JOB? | by Ken Davies
Dear Ask the Expert,
We currently have a batch system and need to convert it to a
real-time system. We could have up to 20,000 transactions per day. We
are planning to initiate the CICS transaction via a batch Job.
I guess the question is, how can we initiate a CICS transaction via a
batch job. If you could point me to a resource on the Internet or a
book, that would be very helpful.

forum and needs your help: "I am a CICS wizard and was outsourced a
while back. Now the outsourcer wants us back in house. I don't want
to go back. I want to explore other options. If I stay with the
outsourcing company, I will probably have to find another job in the
company. This is my best bet to retire with full benefits in a
reasonably short period of time. Any experiences along these lines?"
