Quest Software announced database management tool support for IBM's
z/OS and OS/390. Customers can now manage DB2 performance, database
administration, space management and SQL tuning for both mainframe
and distributed platforms within the same product.
COLGATE TAPS IBM FOR HARDWARE INFRASTRUCTURE | News: InfoWorld
Colgate-Palmolive has selected IBM to overhaul its IT infrastructure
technology, including servers and storage. The consumer giant will
replace products from non-IBM vendors with IBM systems beginning with
the firm's global SAP applications. Colgate-Palmolive has already
begun phasing in pSeries Unix servers, IBM Shark Servers and Tivoli
enterprise management software.
