THE MISSING LINK | "Dot-com" no longer synonymous with "death knell"

Go ahead -- say "dot-com." It's okay! The "dot-com" may be returning
to respectability. One analyst says "dot-com," which for a couple of
years now has been a scourge among suffixes, isn't as doused in
disses as it used to be. That's mainly because companies are more
careful how they use the term. These days firms aren't so hip to hop
on the bandwagon; they add "dot-com" where they see fit and not just
to be trendy and cool.
