We have OMEGAMON monitoring thresholds for WLM and they work just as designed. The problem is, if a service class is idle, its performance index (PI) grows and exceeds a threshold, turning a light in OMEGAMON to yellow or red. This causes a bit of confusion for the operations staff members who are monitoring the system. Is there a way to prevent idle AS's from growing their PI's or do we just turn off the monitoring of PI's? >> CLICK for Steve's expert response: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid498595_tax285125,00.html Also, see this tip on defining workload objectives by Gerhard Adam: http://search390.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid10_gci836627,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= NEED UTILITY TO PRODUCE A SYSMOD EXCEPTION REPORT? | by Mark Zelden Dear Ask the Expert, I am looking for a utility or program to run an ASAP report against the global zone/target zone and produce a report of all hiper PTFs that have not been installed on the system.
