Search390.com Member,

These days, everybody with an inbox is buried in a pile of email. Some of it you look forward to- most of it you delete immediately.

Because it's so fast, efficient and cheap, e-mail has become an indispensable communication tool for all of us. For the same reasons, the volume of e-mail each of us receives can be difficult to handle. How do you manage the e-mail newsletters in your Inbox? What information do you rely on from these newsletters? I'd like to find out.

E-mail me your name, address and phone number, and I'll call to ask you a few questions about the e-mail newsletters you use. The call will take just a few minutes. For your efforts, I'll send you a Search390.com baseball cap.

The information you share will help us manage the content, frequency and subjects we cover in our e-mail newsletters and tips. Thanks in advance and have a great week.

Regards,

Chris Sluz

This Week: In the forums
>> Search390.com user "BobbyB" posted the following in the Developer forum:

"We are trying to issue RACF TSO commands programmatically -- specifically, the ALU and PASSWORD commands using the AT PARM from the RACINIT post-processing exit. We have also tried using IRXJCL and passing PARMs to a Rexx exec, but the IRXJCL doesn't let you issue authorized commands in the exec. I don't see where the IRXEXEC interface is any better. Any ideas?"

Tip of the Week:
Fact or fiction? The all-Windows data center
Just a few short years ago, the notion of an all-Windows data center in a company of any size would have seemed absurd to all but perhaps the most Microsoft-centric shops. But then Microsoft delivered the Windows Datacenter Server in September 2000, and that changed everything -- at least from a technology perspective.
