The Vatican is trying to decide who will be the patron saint of the Internet, the one to pray to when you need a higher power for protection from hackers, pop-ups and so forth. Right now, the archangel Gabriel has a spirited lead, but there is some quality competition, including a Polish priest who believed in using technology to spread the word. Saint Clare of Assisi is also in the running, despite being the current patron saint of television. Can there be a Saint of All Media? We should know by Easter. Stay tuned.
