The handhelds were listed on Amazon's U.K. site for a shade under $12. That's a savings of $437 off the regular price. But those prices didn't last long; the handhelds were trespassing in the bargain basement. Amazon discounted the discount and said that an internal snafu had plundered the price tags. The company won't honor any orders placed for $12 iPaqs.
