Currently, the methods I know of to do this is with an EXEC CICS SUSPEND or an EXEC CICS DELAY. The DELAY has a minimum of one second that causes the queue of records it processes to become too long. However, if I use SUSPEND the queue catches up but the transaction consumes too much of the CPU. Do you know any way to cause CICS to wait for a time period of less than one second? >> For Robert Harris' expert response, CLICK: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid537804_tax289214,00.html >> To ask Robert a question, CLICK: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestion/0,289624,sid10_cid447693_tax289214,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= TAKE OUR POLL! But workers aren't the only ones getting flamed. According to the report, some 14% of all organizations have been ordered to turn over copies of e-mail to a court or regulatory body. Looking for loopholes? Even while the monitoring of Internet-bound e-mail is near ubiquitous -- 90% of companies do it -- only 19% of businesses keep an eye on internal e-mail, which remains the most likely sort to get people in a snit, or a lawsuit.
