ThinkControl, which is now called Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator, creates a pool of IT resources that can be allocated to applications dynamically based on policies set by business managers. IBM TO UPDATE INFORMATION INTEGRATION TOOL | InternetNews IBM's DB2 Information Integrator product, which pools data many sources into one location, has apparently become so popular that customers have asked the company to one-up itself. Do you remember Toyota's old slogan, "You asked for it, you got it"? Well, evidently, someone asked for a car that could park itself. And they got it. The company is now selling a Prius model in Japan that can park itself without the driver touching the wheel. The car uses electrically operated power steering and sensors to help guide the car as it reverses into parking spaces -- kinda like cruise control for the parking lot. As far as parking technology goes, it's without parallel.
