From the Editor: Will 2004 be a good year?

by Mark Brunelli, Site Editor

Economists and industry experts say better times are coming. They predict that 2004 will be a turnaround year with improved sales, increased revenue and less unemployment. But how much of that is true for members of the mainframe job market?

Do your budgets look any better for next year? Will you be able to work on projects you had to put on the back burner this year? Will you have more money to hire needed personnel?

We'd like to know how things are for you and what your plans are for 2004. By taking a quick survey, you can help guide future content on Search390.com. Your answers will help us determine what issues are important to members and what subjects we should cover. Then we can give you Featured Topics, webcasts, technical tips and more that focus on subjects you care most about.

I hope you'll take a few minutes now and tell us what will be a priority for you in 2004.

Until next time,
Mark Brunelli, Site Editor
