 From the Editor: Point, counterpoint

by Jon Panker, News Director

In this presidential election year, debates are taking center stage. Perhaps inspired by the political arena -- perhaps just motivated by their love for a good fight -- some of my editorial colleagues decided to go head to head on issues that they feel pretty strongly about, some of the most hotly contested topics in IT. For instance, does SCO have a leg to stand on against IBM? Will overseas outsourcing help or hurt the country? Which OS is the best, Windows or Linux?

On Search390.com you'll find these online arguments, which we call "Face-offs". And, because everyone has an opinion, we invite you to add your two cents to the great debate using our SoundOff feature. Which argument makes the most valid points? Which debater is full of hot air? We're counting on you to let us know.
