OK, so maybe what these people did was wrong, but you have to give them points for ingenuity. At least a dozen employees of Southern California Edison hacked into the utility's customer database and changed a few phone numbers. They weren't just any numbers -- they were the numbers of people who were to be called for a customer satisfaction survey. So whom did the pollsters end up calling? The hackers' friends and family, which explains why the electric company got nothing but glowing reviews. (Reuters)
