The other evening, I got a phone call from my bank asking me to take part in a survey. I fibbed a little and told the survey taker to call me back at a time I knew I was going to be out.
Now, I do like my bank and I would have nothing but good things to say about it. However, I just didn't have time that night to take a survey.
I have a confession to make: I am about to ask you to do something I didn't do.
Please take our survey on the future of the data center. What challenges will you face? What strategic investments do you plan to make?
One of the pleasures of editing Search390.com is hearing from you. It's nice to know the flow of information is a two-way street.
You might ask yourself why should I take a few minutes out of my busy day to do a survey? Well, the survey's results will likely influence our editorial coverage. In other words, it will help us serve you better.
Make your voice heard. Take the survey here.
PS: The next time my bank calls to do a survey, I will happily take it.

A Search390.com user asked in our Developer forum:
I'm trying to get multi files from FTP server, save them on MVS, decrypt those files and FTP the files to Unix box using JCL. The problem I'm having is that file names have date attached to the end (e.g a040429,a040430...etc) sometime there will be one file other times more, assuming that files on FTP folder correspond to file naming convention on MVS by using MGET: 1- is there a way to dynamically allocate file names on MVS while executing the FTP? 2- If two or more files were FTPed can I
select one file at a time, decrypt it, GDG it, and then FTP the file to Unix? I'm not sure if i'm asking too much from JCL (my experience is more of App. prog.) but any hint or help is greatly appreciated ... thank you in advance.
