IBM has an axis of competition to worry about -- Sun, Fujitsu and Siemens have announced a new partnership wherein they will create Sun's new generation of computers based on Solaris and SPARC chips. Together, the companies will give Big Blue and HP a run for their money.

Have you double clicked today? If so, whatever you do, don't try to claim the click as your own (you can claim your finger). Microsoft now owns the U.S. patent on the double click. So does this mean you'll need to remit Redmond some cash every time your finger pulls the mouse trigger twice? Probably not. Let's just hope IBM doesn't start charging 10 cents for every "Control-Alt-Delete," because if you had a dime for every time your
Windows machine wigged out, you could hire Bill or Steve to clean your pool.
