Response to Outsource: Good buy or Good bye America
A Search390.com user in our Sound Off forum said:
The economy is picking up at a rapid pace. I work in the staffing industry for Sr. Level IT and EE personnel. I see jobs flying past my desk, 11-12 of them at a time. I don't think it's the out sourcing that's killing us. SOME of you IT and EE people just are too picky over what jobs you'll take and what "options" you want. I make an okay living working for this company, but I'd leave today to make 90 dollars an hour, and I have a job sitting on my desk (it has been for 2 weeks now) because
we can't find an Lab view Guy to go out there. So, that job's going to end up at another firm that's going to bring in an H1B guy from India who can do the job and they are going to pay him 60-70 instead.
