I am not talking about resolutions per se but the new year does offer a lot of promise like a blank page. For example, are you looking for a new job? Looking for another position? Contemplating getting out of the mainframe world completely? Want to move to management? So take the blank page, I mentioned earlier and sketch out your ideal job. I am not talking about a fantasy positions such as manager of the Boston Red Sox or host of Survivor. Given your skills, your interests and your lifestyle, what sort of IT job would be ideal? We are eliminating all SNA traffic in favor of TN3270E connections. Has anyone converted an SNA/SNUF setup to an all-TN3270 setup on the iSeries (is this even possible)?
