Ever since we started using Client Access, I've been troubled by the lack of copy and paste from the keyboard. I just hated grabbing my mouse and clicking those boxes. We tried changing the keyboard map, but there was no copy or paste function. I even tried making macros to do it, but even the macros don't know what copy and paste are. Then it dawned on me that the function was right under my nose the whole time. Go to the keyboard map and map the functions called edit-copy and edit paste to Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V. Ta-da! It's a simple solution that everyone should know. ======================================================== OTHER ADMINISTRATOR TIPS ======================================================== Search400 members also submitted the following administrator tips recently: Back door to get command line access Submitted by Wahaj Uddin http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci559024,00.html Beware of limit to displaying offline size of an object Submitted by Richard Cooper http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci559035,00.html Options for easing file transfers Submitted by Darpan Saini http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci559027,00.html Setting library lists Submitted by Phil Hope http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci558200,00.html ======================================================== COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK ======================================================== Did you like this tip?
